I have a new favourite person in all the world, and his name is Peter Caretaker.  Peter Caretaker is the caretaker of Mika's building.  Whenever he posts signs - which is fairly often - he signs them "Peter Caretaker," so I can only assume it's his actual name.

I first thought Peter Caretaker was fairly awesome in the summer.  Peter Caretaker is elderly and overweight, and could often be spotted outside and shirtless.  He didn't recognize me, and would say "hello" while giving me the "I don't know you" glare.  This was amusing enough, but where Peter Caretaker really shines is in his battle with the postman.  A month or two ago, Peter Caretaker posted a sign asking the postman to take away all the mail from the people who don't live in this building anymore.  I gather that hasn't happened, as this week, a new sign went up asking the mailman to take away the above mail and "this better be your last reminder."  So threatening.  So awesome.  Peter Caretaker will not take crap from this mailman anymore - despite the fact that it's really not the mailman's job to take away unwanted mail.

Also, Peter Caretaker spelled "above" with a u and a p.  "The upove mail."  Peter Caretaker is a wonderful human being.
